As I finished moping the floors this evening, I started reflecting on the events of this weekend. If you didn’t know what happened at the gym this weekend, let me tell you. At 9 AM on Saturday, a crew of men showed up to knock out the kitchen to help expand the gym and add more room. This crew consisted of Kevin, Aaron, BJ, Daniel and Luis (Dawn and Melissa came later to bring us waters and snacks, Thanks ladies!). I couldn’t be more grateful for their help this weekend. The project wouldn’t have gone as smooth as it did if it weren’t for these guys. We all moved in sync and worked so well together. It seemed like everybody just knew what to do to get the job done. Everything went by quick, except when we got to capping the water pipe, but that’s a different story.
Anyway, spending time with everybody this weekend got me thinking about the awesome people we have and the community we’ve built at the gym. I kept thinking about the saying, “You’re team is only as strong as your weakest link.” I came to the realization that, we have no weak link. Our team is, now excuse my language, strong as f*ck. I’m stoked as hell to be on the same team as all of you. Thank you for letting me be on your team.
