4/1/15 – Beta Test


In our ongoing quest to provide you all with the best experience and coaching possible. We have something special in the works. And, we need your help.

We are going to be offering a specialty course called, Coalition Strongman. This course will be an 8 week adventure that dives into the world of strongman. This course will meet twice a week at a time that will determined soon. This is where we need you guys. We will be opening up 4 slots to be filled for anybody interested in trying out this course. We want your feedback on your experience to help us fix any bugs or hiccups along the way so we can make this course the best it can possibly be. There will be a sign up list on the whiteboard at the gym starting today and we will be starting this beta test next Monday (4/6) and Wednesday (4/8) at 7:30PM. We’re going to be running this test for 4 weeks. There is one requirement you must meet. You need to commit to this course. We need everybody to be at all of the classes to get proper feed back.

We’re super excited about this course. There’s no secret that we’re passionate about strongman here at The Coalition. This will now give us a chance to help spread the world of strongman to the masses.

Workout of the Day

A. Every 2 minutes, for 10 minutes (5 sets):
20 Walking Lunges (70/53 KBs in each hand)

B. Every 3 minutes, for 15 minutes (5 sets):
Bench Press – 4-6 reps
Three sets of:
Single-Arm DB Row – 8 reps each @ 2111
-Rest 45 seconds-
Hollow Holds/Rocks – 60 seconds
-Rest 45 seconds-
