The fourth Lifestyle practice, starting Saturday, May 23, is to get 7 hours of sleep each day.
* Every day of week 4, starting on Saturday, May 23 and ending Friday, May 29 you will earn your lifestyle points for getting 7 hours of sleep before the day is over. The first time you score yourself will be Saturday evening for the sleep you get from Friday to Saturday. The last time you will score yourself is Friday evening for the sleep you get from Thursday to Friday.
* When you wake up on Saturday, you will either have gotten 7 hours of sleep or you will finish getting 7 hours before the day is through. Remember, you will score yourself for your Friday night through Saturday sleep when you enter your score for Saturday.
* You must accumulate 7 hours of sleep every day. That means you can make up a short night’s sleep during the day with a well-planned nap. Think it’s cheating? No sir. As a matter of fact, mid-day naps may decrease the risk of coronary stress.
*Start counting your sleep time when you close your eyes and turn out the lights. Time in bed reading, talking, or watching TV does not count as sleep time.
