Every day of week 6, you will write, in your Daily Reflection, 3 positive things – things you appreciate or just things you notice and are glad exist in your life.
*Give yourself a “yes” in the Lifestyle category on the SAME DAY you write the reflection
*The 3 things must be written in your reflection to get credit for the Lifestyle practice
*They can be in any form you want – even just a list if you like
Why does any of this even matter? Did you ever notice that the better you feel the easier it is to make good choices? When it feels like something is missing or things are not good enough, we tend to fill the hole with crappy decisions. We actually indulge in unhappiness—eat food we know will make things worse, skip out on things that lift our spirits, and generally justify our state of mind. Starting a practice of noticing what’s good is an easy way to reverse the automatic habit of buying into that unhappiness, which is a great way to program yourself to make better choices every day.
Each week a special sponsor will help us to make this challenge a little more meaningful. This weeks lifestyle challenge is brought to us by Blossom Precision Chiropractic. Doctor Austin has helped members of our facility restore proper function of their bodies. He’s offering a VERY special prize for this weeks lifestyle challenge winner!
