Alright guys, you may have noticed we’ve been lifting real heavy lately. If you haven’t noticed, come to class more often. We’re getting ready to text our maxes in the squat, bench and deadlift. 

With that being said, we are going into somewhat of a deload week. The purpose of a deload week is to give the central nervous system a break and your body a chance to recover. 

This next week the volume on the main lifts will be lower and the percentages we will use won’t be so high.  
There will be a higher emphasis on post workout accessory work as well. To make up for the volume in class. These movements will be intended to be light weight, focusing on muscle contraction and blood flow. 

We also are going to be doing a mock powerlifting meet on Friday, October 7th at 6PM. More information will be put out on this event this week as we finalize all the details.
